  • The school must demonstrate a holistic supportive environment for students

WHAT FIELDS OF STUDY DOES THE INVESTEC HIGH SCHOOL BURSARY COVER?

Investec is inviting high school students to apply for the High School Bursary Programme, for the 2027 academic year.

The bursary is open to students entering Grade 10, Grade 11 and Grade 12 in 2027.

The bursary is mainly aimed at Grades 10 to 12 students from township and rural schools, who show good academic potential, particularly in the fields of Mathematics and Physical Science.

Students will be selected based on financial need and academic potential.

MORE ABOUT THE INVESTEC HIGH SCHOOL BURSARY PROGRAMME

The purpose of the programme is to encourage the youth of South Africa to further their studies, which will hopefully result in them positively contributing to the economy, as well as the development of the country and becoming active participants of society.

Each year Investec provides bursaries via their High School Bursary Programme, to deserving youth.

WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE INVESTEC HIGH SCHOOL BURSARY?

Selection will take place between December 2026 and March 2027. StudyTrust will communicate with the candidates school or with the applicant, via email, on behalf of Investec.

Applicants are NOT guaranteed a bursary if they meet all the requirements - it is a competitive award and there are a limited amount of bursaries available.

Students will be funded for the remainder of their high school studies.
